SLS District Limit

Hey all, I have a question:

Is there a limit of 2 people to attend west point SLS per Congressional District? The reason I am asking is this: I applied first day it opened and made it in, and another buddy from my school applied about a week later and got in. I had another friend who applied about 4 days after my buddy that got in, however, he was rejected. But I am puzzled, the one who got rejected was ridiculously more qualified than the one who got in, he is top 5% in class, several letters from football and golf, 200 range psat, in AP and honors courses… and he only applied 4 days later

So I came to the conclusion that they only allow a certain number per congressional district… what do you guys think?

Each member of congress can have up to five slots charged to him/her at the academy total at one time. That said, many have more than that given LOA’s, service related appointments, etc. It’s possible that given equal files in the physical and academic areas that there was a medical disqualification. Its hard to say for sure.

^^^^ I’m not talking about the ACADEMY itself just SLS [:)]

I would think so Turbo, they only have 800 slots and want good geographic representation. Tough luck for your friend.
