<p>Its a great Jesuit college, pretty campus, on the end of the park. Mid town. WashU-STL is on the other end of the park. </p>
<p>There is always culture shock when leaving home. Particularly going to a strange large city. </p>
<p>Adjustment will occur and its up to you to deal with dorm drama and a bunch of 18 year old kids away from home. Stay away from the drinkers. Focus on your studies and make friends with the best and brightest, and your professors and you will be fine.</p>
<p>All big cities have issues. Use common sense.</p>
<p>St. Louis barbecue is not the same at Texas barbecue, but they’re both darn good. Think Chicago style pizza vs New York style – different approach but both very good.</p>
