Slum lords taking advantage of off campus students

I just noticed that too, but the points are still relevant. When I first read the post suggesting it was Penn I thought oh great, my S is just starting there and I will have to deal with it in a few years. Then it turned out to be Lehigh where I just moved my D in to her off campus apartment yesterday. I guess I can’t win… There are some very bad areas around Lehigh and I don’t see how anyone can defend that or be upset that people say that when it is true. Their house seems to be in pretty good shape and the landlord seems to be on top of things so far. But the neighborhood and some of the houses there are a little scary.
