HOOKS
from a rural-ish small town… idk if that’s a hook or a hindrance

Please chance me for the following schools:
Columbia University (Early Decision)
Harvard
Yale
Princeton
Brown
U Chicago
WashU in St. Louis
NYU

Columbia - reach, maybe lower because of ED?
Harvard - you never know, but hey, you’re from a small town
Yale - reach
Princeton - reach
Brown - reach
Chicago - high match/low reach if you really express yourself well in your essays
WashU - low reach/high match
NYU - match

good luck!!

wanna chance me too?
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/547444-so-here-goes-again-i-changed-my-mind-chance-me.html</a></p>

the Ivies you chose are the most competitive ones, and your test scores may be a bit low for them, you should have a decent shot at the other 3 though.

EDIT: actually I agree with Crystalpineapple haha.

Hi zeke72791, I’m happy to chance you … but can you chance me too? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/538677-please-chance-me-i-d-really-really-appreciate.html</a>.

Hmmm interesting you’re from a small town … that’s already distinctive for you especially considering the fact that you have fewer opportunities, but you have obviously taken advantage of what your school has to offer. That will look good in admission officers’ point of view. Your UW GPA of 4.0 is very good … but wow you’re class size is only 150?? That’s pretty small … anywho I’m digressing. Based on your PSAT and SAT scores, I’m guessing that you have a shot at Semifinalist standing. Your SAT score of 2180 is very good, and I like the fact that your scores are very consistent (as in there’s not much of a difference among the 3 sections in scores). Your ACT composite of 33 is also very good, though your essay scores are average when in comparison to the US. Your ECs are also pretty good, as well as your comm service.

Overall, you’re a very good student who has obviously taken advantage of the opportunities you were given. I think that you’ll get admitted into at least one of the top schools you’ve listed.

Chances:
Columbia: Reach
HYP: Reach (They’re elite Ivies!)
Brown: Cannot rate because the admission officers here tend to review applicants holistically … so nail those essays!
U Chicago: Same thing here, though I can say that your GPA is above the average for admitted people and that your test scores places you near the middle 50th percentile of the SAT range for UChicago. Your ACT score places you at the 75th percentile. So, stats wise you look pretty good, but admission really depends on the essay.
WUSTL: Slight reach
NYU: Match

Good luck, and remember to chance me too. Thanks!

Baby turn around and let me see that sexy body go bump, bump, bump!
