Small vs. Big College

I am currently a geology student at a small college. I am going to go to grad school. Does going to a small college effect my chances on getting into a good grad school?

Only if the smallness means that it does not offer sufficient courses in your major or related subjects like math, physics, and chemistry.

You can check the geology graduate programs to see if they list undergraduate prerequisites, and then check your current college to see that it offers them.

Bigger schools tend to love applicants from small schools because they tend to be smarter and have a better professor student relationship. Smaller schools also have easy access to internships set up by the school that are reserved for the students.
