<p>For some reason, I keep seeing SmartyPants’ ES guide being recommended by various people on CC. While it does have clear, concise definitions and a practice test, it is FAR TOO SHORT (only 50 pages). It is 20 dollars on Amazon – a lot more expensive than PR or REA, yet far shorter. It skips over like half the definitions and key words in condensing the information, and it is outdated (last published in 2005). The formatting is not good, either; many diagrams are pixellated and hard-to-read.</p>
<p>My point is that the Smartypant’s Guide is not superior to PR or the REA anthology, as many claim.</p>
