<p>I have seen a lot of talk about SMG, CAS and CSG in this forum.</p>

<p>I just wanted to know what these are.</p>

<p>I also wanted to know which dorm is really good to stay in BU</p>

CAS- college of arts and sciences
CGS- college of generel studies</p>

<p>for freshmen the more popular dorms are Warren towers and West Campus…</p>

<p>If you go to the right of this main page link all the various colleges within BU are described. CAS, Engineering, Com=Communications and so on. Many large universities have smaller “colleges” within them that make the feel smaller. The stats of admitted students at each college vary considerably.
