There’s nothing from Smith in our physical mail today (we get images of incoming mail). No heads up email or text. Nothing on the portal. Nothing tweeted from Dean Deanna.
I mean, I think everyone would be delighted if it were today, but I think it’s probably better for our mental health to temper expectations. ?
It’s odd that they haven’t told us when yet though, isn’t it? I think in previous years applicants got a heads up several days in advance giving the date and time.
Also even if it’s usually Fridays, today is Friday the 13th which miiiiiight have influenced them to hold off until Monday for superstitious applicants’ sakes, haha.
I doubt we’ll find out today, but hopefully we at least get the email confirming when we’ll know?! It’s stressful that we haven’t heard anything, but at least everyone is in the same boat - good luck to all of us!
It is really stressful! But at least we have this way to communicate, which is saving my life…Before I was feeling like maybe I just missed some kind of communication, which was making me super nervous.
Honestly, I think it’s more likely to be that the update process takes some time than that the portal appearance has meaning. It’s just way too much effort to code secret clues into the portal this far in advance, you know?
Did you guys receive the e-mail from UPS which showed Smith was going to send a parcel? It seems that my weight of the parcel is 0.0 lbs (only rejection letter in it I guess). I don’t think I got in if this is accurate.

Read it carefully. It could be that just a label was created and that the parcel wasn’t processed yet. In that case, they still have to weigh it. Good luck.
No UPS notification here, but I can’t imagine Smith using UPS for either acceptances or rejections sent to US addresses. A first class stamp is, what, about 50 cents now? A letter sent by. UPS within the US starts at $18 for 2-day service.
I’m an international student and received the UPS email (in my mother tongue, interestingly) saying that the parcel will reach me on Thursday, December 19. The weight is 0.0lbs though, I somehow feel this is a rejection. Also the video and the link to Net Partner disappear in my Applicant Portal.
