Smoothie

Do you think that if I had a smoothie everyday in the morning, since I don’t have enough time for breakfast, that it would be good or bad for my health? Also, what if I added an egg in it for protein?

I Love Strawberry/banana Smoothies!

It wouldn’t be fun to clean the blender everyday (ours is really tough to clean) but if you have a really nice mom… ;-)

I have to have something solid in the morning, or I get hungry by second period.

I’m more of a drink person…I clean it ;-)

cleighdrie, i also get so hungry in second period!! Even after eating something solid… I always try to sneak in some cookies in the start of 2nd period…

Yeah I’d love to have the motivation to clean blenders! Then I’d drink them everyday. I’m pretty sure it’d good for you. It has fruit in it… no? fruit’s healhthy…

I do protien/nutritional drinks in the morning because I’m not hungry when I have time to eat but then at like 11am I’m dying. Make sure the drinks have actual nutritional value. A few strawberries and a bananna don’t really have that much in them.

… I wouldn’t do the egg, though. That’s kind of gross, IMO, but I know that lots of people do it.

So is it safe, and would it help the body?

I think fruit smoothies would be sufficient enough for your breakfast. I love strawberry, orange, pineapple, banana smoothies! I have my own blender…and I blend almost everyday …jk…but I do like to shake it up! Blend blend, Grind Grind, Chop Chop, smash smash I dont know about the protein thing…just take a pill…that would be one nasty smoothie if you put eggs in it!

Fruits don’t equal lasting energy; it’s all sugar. But you can add protein powder instead of an (icky) egg and it’s still all good. :)

Another thing with the egg; Raw eggs sometimes have bacteria that can be harmful (usually cooking kills the bacteria, but if you’re putting it into your smoothie I’m assuming that it’s the raw egg).
