<p>People keep inviting me to “join their network” but I don’t know what it is… other than that it’s popular in asia.</p>

<p>I know it’s text messaging, but does it cost anything? What does it do?</p>

<p>I don’t have any txt messages in my plan… they cost like 10 cents to send out and 2 to receive or something. </p>

<p>SMS is a type of message but only some phones/carriers have it in the US. Google the terms and you’ll get lots of info on it. I know for me it’s just like texting and is included in my plan.</p>
