Same for my son. Hopefully, good news will come tonight. It’s so hard, you kids work so hard for these acceptances, receiving TCU’s deferment was very tough for my son.
@CollegeMom70 I hate that for your son, breaks my heart to see our kids hurt. Tell him to hang in there if he really wants TCU. I know quite a few that got acceptances to TCU that are already passing on them because they’ve chosen other schools. Best of luck to him!

Admitted as Distinguished Scholar ($25K/year). I’m honored but SMU was a safety and I’ve been offered similar merit aid at one of my target/reach schools. Congrats to all who were admitted … SMU’s a great school. Now I have to wait until March for the reaches.
