Congrats. How much is the BBA Scholarship and what other options are there for merit.
My daughter was accepted with the Distinguished Scholarship as well. I’m ignorant here but if I understand correctly, she is still eligible for additional scholarships like the Presidential and Hunt scholarships correct? She wants to do business so I think she would be eligible foe Cox scholarships as well.
My son was admitted as an SMU Distinguished Scholar. 34 ACT 3.4 GPA, Ransom Everglades HS in Miami. We are excited!

Accepted with SMU Distinguished Scholarship. 33 ACT 3.8UW/4.2W GPA. Strong ECs and Leadership positions. Parent and Uncles also attended SMU. Also hoping to get Cox acceptance. Congrats to everyone who got in and good luck to everyone deferred!

Has anyone heard about Discovery scholarships for STEM students?
Coach is trying to get a read if she is in the President’s pool or not.
I just got the Discovery Scholarship, but the notifications could be rolling.

@jtbuddy Congratulations to your daughter! My son also received dual-acceptance, and he is super excited! Originally, SMU was not his first choice, but after meeting several of the professors and spending time on campus, he has no doubt that SMU is where he belongs! Best wishes to you and yours!

@jmdpdheieio I doubt many Presidential Scholars are recruited athletes so I believe your DD should have a good shot at an interview as long as she has leadership experience and expresses strong interest. The PS group is amazing and SMU is a great place for a D1 athlete.
