SMU vs TCU

I am an international student who has had an offer from both TCU and SMU to start in the fall of 2019. However, I have not had a chance to visit the campuses (I’ll be going to see them both in two weeks time) and wondered if anyone could give me an insight into these universities and how they differ?
I am majoring in biochemistry, potentially to go into business after.
I am not really interested in sport unless it is equestrian but I understand sport is a big deal to both, notably TCU.
I would also like to here about the residential arrangements too!
Thank you!

There are always plenty of students at every university who aren’t all that interested in collegiate sports. I wouldn’t worry about that.

TCU has some of the nicest dorms in the country, and have been ranked as such. Variety of options. TCU is less urban and more of a traditional southern college experience. Both have good programs…SMU closer to more urban opportunities.

Sports at TCU is part of community and tradition and lots of activities surrounding it, whether you are a heavy spectator or not—the ambience and spirit is contagious.

There are over 200+ clubs on the TCU campus and lots of free programming every week being held. TCU was rated #2 in the country for two years by The NY Times for community engagement, and that is not just for the sports.
