I got accepted yesterday. When should I expect my formal letter to arrive?

Congrats! And no clue.

It varies a lot right now, apparently. At least based on the anecdotes on here. 1-6 weeks seems as close as one can call it these days.

I got my formal letter today! Took them a week, not bad!

I got 20K to Tulane!

Opheliarose, just curious, what were your stats? I’m trying to gauge if I’ll get any award while I’m anxiously awaiting my letter.

Wow, fallenchemist, you know me better than me, lol.

LOL, I don’t think so. I have been compiling a chart comparing the statistics of a student and the size of the merit award Tulane gave. So I was looking for yours anyway and there they were. Quite excellent, btw. You should be very proud of your achievements. You got the Founder’s Award, right?

So it looks like you are looking strongly at USC. If you got in to USC but got no scholarship, what decision do you think you would make?

I’ve noticed. You’ve become the Tulane guru on CC. Keep up the great work!

Yes, I love USC’s program. It’ll have to be a financial decision that my parents and I have to make if I don’t get any scholarships from USC. Like most students, I want to go to the best program I can get into with the least student loans I have to accumulate.
