Sneakerology101 at Carnegie Mellon

No I’m not kidding. This course at CMU is real. Carnegie Melon University is offering the course this semester and it covers the history of the sneaker culture rooting all the way back to the '70s.

Talk about bizarre class offers. Goes to show there’s no limit in what you can learn in college.

That’s pretty damn cool.

I think it’s really interesting. There’s a lot of potential there to talk about fetishization of race, class, and wealth, plus sports culture, subculture, and identity.

Yes and I think that too should also be a class offered^

There’s a starcraft class at Berkeley, iirc.
