Snow...or not?

Ok…so depending on which model you read, New England could be getting a snow storm starting Sunday and continuing until Monday,

Is this going to foul up spring break travel plans?

5-8 inches…maybe!

My daughter is flying back to school Sunday at 11:00. I think she should be OK but who knows.

5 to 8 inches in New England? A dusting.

@sax

Not this winter. We had maybe 20 inches total all winter…and no more than 5 inches in each snowfall.

I told my wife she won’t have school Monday. She’ll believe it when she sees it.

Delayed opening on Monday is my guess.

Possible snow Wednesday morning too…but that’s a week away!

Wah? Have I been asleep? This is the first I’m hearing of this. I sure hope you’re wrong.

Check yoir weather forecast VH. Apparently the euro models have us getting 5-8 inches.

:frowning:

I am watching this storm closely because some models ( according to our local meteorologists ) suggest snow in our area , as well as the area where my daughter is returning to school after her spring break. She has her car at school now so I am not comfortable about her driving back in any storm…

Just make sure the snow doesn’t come to DC. Cherry blossoms are supposed to peak bloom around the 23rd.
I have been sleeping with my window open at night. It has been so nice the last couple of days.

Hope this link works…I’m not sure I believe it…but whew! What a forecast it has.

Link doesn’t work…but you can try to find it on Facebook.

And I was just thinking that our early pseudo-spring might really be an early spring.

Last year we still had so much snow on the ground around this date that we didn’t hold our usual neighborhood party because there would have been nowhere for anyone to park!

It was 80 degrees last week and now we’re getting snow! DH moved the snowblower to the back of the garage a couple of weeks ago. I told him he was tempting fate. Now we’ll have to remember to move it to a spot it’s more accessible by Sun.

This is crazy stuff. The ground has been so warm, I wonder how much will actually accumulate on the ground and roads, vs just coming down from the sky. S is supposed to go back to school on Sunday :frowning:

We are supposed to get anyway from 2-6" last I checked…it was nearly 80 the other day, now winter decided to come back…just in time for spring.

Our local weather guru who does not subscribe to sensationalism says coating to 2 inches Saturday night. The Sun’s angle is such that it won’t accumulate on the roads. Second storm Sunday night will bring us little to no additional accumulation. Southeastern PA.

yesteday it was in the 60’s, today at lunch I saw snow flurries

Ah, New England. As they say, if you don’t like the weather, wait five minutes. )

We have been downgraded to 1-3 inches. I think this is a wait and look out the window weather event!
