So ive found myself set on College park. IT has the program that i want to pursue (aerospace), the campus i want to enjoy, and all around i feel like the new me would fit perfectly there, what with hard work and all that.
But… i kinda screwed up big time in 9th and 10th grade. For whatever reason i did stupid things, made stupid decisions, and didnt shape up until 11th, by which point im afraid its too late now that im an 1/8th of the way through senior year and the deadlines are sailing onto the horizon.
as it stands rn, My gpa is 3.17 unweightd, bolstered a bit by an A in the CCBC english course. weighed is 4.583. My SAT scores are 1400 (680 in math, 720 in reading), and I got a 31 on my ACT
in 9th grade i took:
goverment
Phys Ed
Algebra 2
English 9
PLTW intro to engineering
Spanish 3
Piano
Biology
10th grade:
Pre calc (somewhat horrific failure due to laziness)
AP comp sci (horrific failure due to laziness, 1 on exam)
English 10
AP world History (4 on the exam)
Hon Piano
PLTW Digital Engineering (not a horrific failure per sey, but too many staff changes to warrant success)
Spanish 4 (This is the one grade that was consistently decent)
Chemistry
11th grade (took no Ap exams, the ones i care about have credit in the ones i take now)
AP calc AB - B
PLTW principles of Engineering - A
Hon US History - A
Films and history - A
Hon Piano - A
Sat Prep - B
AP Physics 1 - C
AP english 11 - B
last but not least
12 grade:
PLTW Design and Development
PLTW Aerospace Engineering
AP Calc BC
AP Physics C
AP English 12
Health 11/12 first semester and Econ 11/12 2nd semester
my other 2 are dual enrollment in CCBC for a History course to pass off more credits, which will be followed with another course in the Spring
I was also in the Robotics club for 2 years before the school cut funding and it was dissolved
Ik im not very descriptive, and im already braced for the answer, but what do you think? Anything I can do last minute to give me an edge? I just really hope i get in and I need an outside opinion to give me some peace of mind
Thanks so much for taking the time to read
