So i know my SAT scores are definitely on the low side for Duke…but im hoping that my essays and stuff will make up for them. I have already started working on my essays and I had one of my favorite teachers read and critique it. He liked it a lot and thought it embodied me well.

I’d say you’re probably a slight reach to a low match. Your strength is definitely not in your scores, but you do have a very solid base in your ECs. If you could push those scores up just a little, though, I think you’d have a really good chance. Maybe the ACT?
