<p>In my quest to come up with a gift for my H I am considering a snowboard helmet.
He already has one but it is old.
Does anyone know anything about bluetooth and IPOD playing devices that you can use with the helmet? I don’t snowboard with them so I have no clue.</p>
<p>Yes, some high end one’s have those. But the most important is the fit, as different brands have differnet fit, just like buy shoes. Don’t buy one without him try out first… Well, that took the air out of a suprise.</p>
<p>Not a good idea. He will not be able to hear skiers behind him. It’s ok if he just use to ride the chairs but will he really turn it off when he gets off the chair? Likely not.</p>
<p>My son has a helmet that has speakers that hook up to his iPod. I got it a few years ago at REI Outlet, and it was very reasonable. </p>
<p>And we should be proud of ourselves for having teens/young adults who will wear their helmets. My son is the only one in his group who wears one consistently … he tells his friends he likes being smart, and he isn’t about to scramble his brain!</p>
