Yes, I just got that email too. I have been happy with all the things I have gotten so far.
Received my last order from jet today. Order was to my satisfaction. I like how they package the shipments so that items don’t get damaged.
Looked online today and noticed the Kirkland brand that is sold at Costco for the same price.
I just ordered my first item from Jet yesterday. It was scheduled to arrive between Thursday of this week and next Wednesday, but looks like it will actually be here today! Happy about that. Since I haven’t ordered through them yet, I ended up getting 15% off an item that retails for $200, and that was already priced $20 lower than Amazon. It was a good deal.
I reserve my final thoughts about Jet until the item comes. A few things I don’t like though: 1) They evidently pride themselves on a “transparent” shopping experience, but IMO, they are probably the least transparent e-commerce site I have visited. There is no indication of whether or not the item you want is in stock, which vendor it ships from, and there are no reviews of the item you are ordering, which is inconvenient. 2) Their supply chain/business model is funky… basically they just source the product you want from third party vendors and order it from that vendor. The process is supposed to be cost effective and efficient, but from a customer point of view, it seems as though they are just trying to make easy money, lol. 3) Shipping is apparently a mixed bag based on customer reviews of Jet.
Overall, not completely sold on Jet yet. I might use them to order one-off items that are cheaper than Amazon, but other than that, I’m not sure.
I’ve been happy with their service so far.
This thread is a year and a half old. I was part of jet’s pre-release beta test group and I tried to be loyal to them, but they simply made too many mistakes early on for me to hang in there. And I really wanted them to be contenders. That said, Amazon really annoyed me yesterday so I am reconsidering.
