so awesome

Does anyone know the chemical formula of oxybenzone? Thanks

…google it…

yagoohoogle.com it =P…

um… not sure but is it c6h1409? i remember the benzene ring structure, not sure how to configure it, actually i’m not even sure if what i gave u is stable…

I tried googling it, but couldn’t find it!! thanks cujoe, I’ll try and check your forumla. Where did you find it?

i think cujoe is right since benzene is C6H6.

um… i didn’t find it perse… i took my sister’s orgo kit and made the stablest ring i could with the benzene ring… keeping in mind there are OH’s instead of plain h’s in the structure

don’t take my word for it, as i have been known to make false assumptions… should be somewhat close tho…

C14H12O3

[Here’s a diagram of it. And another

Here’s[/url">http://www.sciencelab.com/page/S/PVAR/10422/SLO1615]Here’s[/url</a>] it’s formula.

And both put together in one nice page](<a href=“chemistrydaily.com - chemistrydaily Resources and Information.”>chemistrydaily.com - chemistrydaily Resources and Information.) that has all you could possibly want to know about oxybenzone.

wow… WAY OFF BASE… lol… sorry punkette i tried my best :(
