<p>guys… there’s someone that keeps posting on these threads that’s really negative and I don’t really think it’s helping the people that she’s responding to… anyway…
my SAT scores are as follows:
530 CR
650 math
670 writing
are those awful? i was looking at the naviance graphs for my school and there were people admitted with lower scores AND i’m from new york…</p>

<p>i know my CR score is a little low… but that’s really the only thing that isn’t so hot… 650 i think is good enough but i also got a 29 on my act…
@fballtennisguy, do you really think they’re “great”? because i don’t, but i don’t think i won’t get in for just that one CR score… i’m hoping i also won’t be admitted for freshman connection</p>
<p>Adding those together would give you 1180 which is a little below average for UMD. Average is like 1250. But your ACT score should make up for it, so as long as you submitted both I wouldn’t worry</p>

<p>yeah i did submit both. and that’s only an average! like i said, a few people from my school with scores below mine on the 1600 scale got in!

<p>On the application status page, the application completed date stopped changing on 1/14/12. Before, the completed date was changing to whatever day it was when I logged in. So that probably means they’re done reviewing and now are inputting decisions into the system. Still seems like we’ll have to wait til 1/31/12 for notification though!</p>

<p>Hate to be the bearer of bad news but they require final senior year grades, maybe mid year, and your school notifies them if you fail any courses. An acceptance can be recinded. Trust me I know how excited you all are, may of us parents may be more excited until we get the first bill, but remember you have to finish HS before you go to college. Walk before run young grasshopper!</p>

<p>So I called UMD and they told me a vast majority of decisions have already been made and will be finalized by the end of the next week at the latest. You’ll be getting an email notification once decisions are posted.</p>
