So, evidently, I didn't register? What?!

I was all set to take the USH and Lit tests this Saturday. I took the prep classes in school, took practice tests, and probably over-prepared. I spilled something on my admissions ticket and went onto the College Board website to reprint it, but encountered a small problem: there was no record of my registration for either test on my profile. Further investigation found that they never charged my mother’s credit card for either test. But I registered!!! The website won’t let me sign up now because it is too close to the testing date. I do have my admissions ticket from my initial registration, but it’s practically illegible (hence why I wanted a new one). College Board is just telling me that I never signed up!

I can’t take the tests in June because of a scheduling conflict, and I am terribly afraid of taking them in October because I plan on applying EA to the majority of my schools. I have no idea what to do. Would I call the College Board? Have a counselor call College Board? Just show up at the testing site?

Call the Collegeboard. If your admission ticket is legible enough for you to read your registration number (I’m not sure if that’s the exact term, but your ticket should have some sort of identification or serial number on it), be sure to have that on hand when you contact them.

If worst comes to worst, look into standby testing.
