So I got an incomplete....

So this is a bit embarassing, but I feel compelled to tap the information banks of CC. At the end of this year I was so swamped with graduation and various final projects that eventually both of my Latin AP projects slipped through the cracks. Now, I’m on outstanding terms with my latin teacher, who has taught me for 3 years and is the coach of the Academic Team I’m on and went to nationals with. I had a high 4.0 every quarter of the year (which would have included the 4th quarter). However, since I failed to turn in my final projects, she gave me an incomplete on my report card.

What shouuld I do? She is currently mostly out of reach for contact, since she’s been on a Fullbright to Italy since the day before my graduation and will be there for another month.

What repercussions am I likely to face from Northwestern when they get my transcript with an Incomplete on it? Should I call them to explain? And I obviously have to do the projects and get that cleared off my transcript, right?

Just explain it.

Yes, but do I contact them if they don’t contact me to explain it? Or is it better to just not bring their attention to it if they haven’t contacted me?

Take initiative. I doubt they’ll rescind your admission for something so trivial as this. As long as it wasn’t like … academic dishonesty or whatever, they’ll probably be ok with it.
