How would anyone go about doing it? If you had a “perfect” plan on how to study SAT how would you go about doing it. Personally, I am more comfortable with the ACT and have been able to get 31/32 scores. ( ~2150) I have these books:

1) BB
2) Rocket Review

What others should I get? Direct hits? Where can I find Grammatix? What about PR or Barron’s? Thanks ccer’s!

I would personally get Direct Hits, the BiBle, and the official online course. That would add up to 14 testaments which is enough for 12 weeks. Practicing unofficial testaments is an act of heresy.

Does anyone know which book is good for CR? I mean, I always have trouble with those stupid passages and even short readings lol. Also, what about Grammatix? Where can I find that book?

Rawkfist - I know isn’t it controversial lol, I love it.

Reading through 2 volumes of Direct Hits are by far the best vocab prep you can get unless you are willing to memorize 3000 words from a list.
Direct hits words have had the highest appearance on the real SATs; and the way the words are explained is really really helpful. The explanations are geared towards today’s youth. For exampe:
Dumledore’s Army was a surreptitious group(secretive)
or
Amy Winehouse is a recalcitrant woman who in her song sings "“No No No”.(stubborn) etc.

I live in NY and we get 12 weeks, but my friend who goes to a private school gets more like 20 weeks of vacation. I know that is unfair 20! They end after AP exams. ( Early May) They start the beginning of September.

Well feel better 'cause in England we get six weeks. SIX! D:
I’m homeschooled & working right through this year 'cause I took a break already but yeah. xD

We finished about the 24th of July when I was in school and started again in September about the 4th. S:

You might want to remember that those are old SAT version, not the New SAT, but still helpful! I have them and they’re okay so far, the CR section helps a lot.
