at BC, what does this mean for my prospects at ND (keeping in mind that I have a sibling there and do not require financial aid)?

Doesn’t mean anything. I’m sure ND doesn’t care what BC decided.

You’re not understanding. Two schools of the same caliber, nearly identical acceptance percentages. Therefore, am I more likely to get accepted at ND because of my sister…Idk.

Goldendomer

Dont get too worried yet. Daughter was waitlisted for BC( with a 4 yr ROTC scholarship offer) and got in EA to Notre Dame. Who knows?

I just got accepted to BC and rejected EA from ND, but my friend just got waitlisted at BC and accepted EA at ND… anything can happen.

Domer: yes, having a sib at a college can be a small plus factor for admission to that school.

OTOH, having a sib at a competitive college could be seen as a negative…for example, Georgetown will see your sib at ND (its on the Common App) and think that your preference lies there.
