In my Yale essay, on the last sentence, I realized I put a period where there should be a question mark. I think it’s pretty that it should have been a question mark. Will this hurt me?

Here’s the sentence:

After all what is a learned man who does not discriminate his tostada from his souffle.

really? i never get why people freak out about little grammatical mistakes like that. you shouldn’t worry about such a thing. i believe the admissions committee will not be like: “WHOA, HE’S MISSING A QUESTION MARK” and ponder upon it :P

According to the Yale admissions website, “punctuation is not as important as your transcript, but more important than standardized tests when evaluating candidates for admission.”
Sorry Saints.

You need lessons on reading tone from text… ^ Though the XD and blatant humour in most of the posts should have alerted you to the fact that the are being friendlily mocking…
