So I'm not doing well in AP Psychology...

I currently have A’s in PreCalc, Physics and AP Lang but I only have a low B (83%) in AP Psychology. This class is supposed to be easy. As you know, I hate B’s with a strong passion. An A is 90% but I just haven’t done very well on the first two tests. I got a 74 on the first test and a 77 on the second test. The brain stuff was just not my interest (I studied for hours and still got a C on the test - And I still can’t explain to you how a neuron fires)! I basically only took AP Pysch because I needed an AP. My teacher lets us do retests, but we can only go up like 3-5 points at most. So our next test is on Sensation and Perception on Tuesday, and it is supposed to be a hard test. Does anyone have any tips for getting an A on this test so I can get my grade up?

My Chem teacher gave us some really good advice

Don’t study for a C and expect an A

Studying is different for every person, I personally hate rereading text or notes as I don’t think it helps me much. Use quizlet or sketch quick diagrams to understand material. If you studied for hours and got a C, you either didn’t study the best way for you, or were distracted the whole time (did you study 100% for hours, or just study while watching TV or texting someone?)

If you need any more advice, let me know (be sure to “@” me)

I had a C for that whole class, passed the exam with a 4
