So I'm not heartbroken in April...

I'd like to know what to expect:

I'm just about finished applying to these schools:
Reed

and probably either UNH or Franklin Pierce as a safety school

Stats:

White female
Location: New Hampshire

SAT I scores:
Total: 2200
Reading: 770
Math: 630 (ugh)
Writing: 800 (Essay:11)

Sat II scores:
U.S. History: 750

Class rank:
as of last year: 25/808
GPA: 95 unweighted

AP :
Last year: AP U.S. History, 5

The others I plan to take this year:
AP Bio
AP European History
AP Literature
AP German

Plus, Junior year I was in Honors English and Honors German 4 (I am in AP 5 now), which are basically AP classes that don't have the test as an end goal. Same with Honors English this year. My other classes are A level (at my school, there are A, B and C level classes, or Honors/AP when offered)

I am the secretary...we've been on hiatus for a little while though...and will be until I finish college stuff because the administration at school wasn't very supportive of us) 10,11,12
History Club (VP) 11, 12
Playwriting 11, 12
Tower (literary mag) 10,12
Challenge Program (at Rivier College...25 Sophomores and Juniors from my school are selected each year to participate during either sophomore or junior year) I don't think I mentioned this at all on any apps though...

Work Experience:
A video rental store 6/05-12/05 15 hours per week

University of Rochester Social Sciences/ Humanities Award, 2005

National Foreign Language Honor Society, 2005.
Scholastic Art Award Silver Key, 2003
Scholastic Art Award Honorable Mention, 2003
National Merit Commended Student, 2005

Recommendations: Should be great :D

Essays: Very good, I think

So, what are my chances? Thanks in advance.

Dartmouth- reach
Brandeis- match
Lehigh- match
Tufts - match
Williams- slight reach
Reed- match

Dartmouth- rejected
Lehigh- accepted
Tufts- waitlisted
Williams- accepted
Reed- accepted (sure they dont get many apps from NH)

Despite your SAT math score, I think you still have a chance in Dartmouth and Tufts. Good luck!

Thanks very much to both of you. :D

you have a good chance at many of them but unfortunately your math score may affect you. That 800 in writing does not make up for it.

Reed will probably accept but not because you're from NH. They actually get a lot of applicants from New England, and if not residents of NH, then from other states who went to prep school there.

Thanks to both of you, too.
