So is my curriculum made by Nihilists...?

Last semester in honors 12th grade English, we read the following:
-Metamorphosis by Kafka
-The Stranger by Camus

Interspersed between them we read:
-Siddartha by Hesse
-The Secret Sharer by Conrad

The first list is composed of existential works. Our curriculum was made to incorporate the second list of works to re-enforce the theme of self-awareness in the first list.

Not that they were bad books, but I found it a bit weird hearing existentialism philosophy from a Jewish teacher.

Nihilism ≠ Existentialism.

≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠

I love that.

@rockermcr

I see nihilism as an outgrowth of existentialism.

=/= how do you do that “not equal” sign?

i think i’m a nihilist lol.

I copy and paste it.
