So lost, help me out?

Hey guys.

So I’m a freshman at Miami U in Ohio and I have to get out! I’ve already applied to Syracuse, but I’m getting worried now that applying to another middle sized school just isn’t for me and I want to find a smaller school in the North east that’ll let me really be part of a community. However, I don’t want to sacrifice having a school with a solid reputation and good opportunities for job placement later. Also, I don’t want to be too

Can anyone suggest some good LACs that won’t make me feel like I’m totally obscuring myself? I know the basic stats for schools like Lafayette, Gettysburg and skidmore, but I don’t really know all that much about their strengths, reputations or student satisfaction.

Also, this sounds silly, but does anyone know, is University of Rochester’s reputation for really lacking in the social scene true? Is greek life big, do people go out a lot?

Any feedback would be awesome.

…bump

Please?

what makes you want to leave Miami U?

If you truly want diversity, I think you’ll be disappointed w/ Syracuse-(i have heard syracuse is mostly for snobbish rich kids, but that is just conjecture), though there job placement is pretty solid…

Greek life is for the right type of person-it’s difficult to be highly involved in the Greek scene and do well in school, but it’s def. possible. if your thinking of joining a frat/sor be mindful that is it very time consuming, that requires your attendance at certain social events…

hope that helps
