So much hardwork gone to waste

I took the SAT last year and got a 2050…

I studied over the summer voraciously. I took a total of 13 practice tests ( 130 hours… 3 practice tests each day before the actual test) and digested all of the vocab in DH1 and DH2…

My score didnt really improve at all!

my math went down 20 points… 740 to 720… my CR stayed the same… 670… and my writing went up 40 points…

WHY DID MY HARD WORK go to shambles???

I understood every problem that i got wrong when doing the practice tests…And my score fluctuated from practice test to practice test… but the common theme in this forum for SAT is that hard work and practice leads to better SAT scores…

What the hell happened in my case???</p>

Has this happened to other people???

Yea, my ACT dropped from a 32 to a 31 even though I studied. Two years later, I retook and got a 34.

Maybe you just had a dry spell. Try again in Jan. For example, I got 2250 in Oct even though I was scoring 2300+s constantly. I retook in Nov for a 2400.

And my hard work in other classes isnt paying off either… I’ve never had a problem in science… and this year in ap biology i cant seem to do good…e ven though i study endlessly for every test…

im going to try for standby but i doubt its a fluke…
my CR scores on practice tests vary from 650-750ish…

Im not consistent at all…
