so quick question...

after all the classes and grades i see on this site, this might seem like comprehensive classes but hey sorry my school isnt spectacular, anyways im wondering, at the rate im going, my senior year should look like this:

English: College Credit English (they dont give the actual class name im guessing? i dont know)

Math:College Level Statistics

Social Studies: AP U.S History hopefully if i can pass the test if not then ill go ahead and do Spanish III

Science: AP Physics 2, like above only if i can pass the test, if not then just Physics

For EC’s, basketball, football, track, cross country, soccer, beta club, school newspaper, FBLA, Quick Recall, ACT prep class after school freshman year, i only have 18 hours of community service right now, but by senior year i know ill have at least 80 or 90, maybe a 100 if i have time

In my ACT prep class i took a test and got and 80 overall, i dont know what thatd convert to in the ACT scoring range but im guessing around a 20-25? Im a really great writer and great at literature and reading and im expecting nothing less than a 780 on my SAT Reading and Writing, probably a 730 or 740 in Math, not my strongest subject… -______-

Anywas im wondering if this will look good to either University of Texas-Austin (probably a longshot :/) or University of Louisville which is where i currently live, if its crappy let me know so i can try and get into harder classes. Thank you very much kind sir/mam. =l

You have to take both a History class and a FL language class to have any real chance at getting into UT (especially since you’re out of state).

oh yea i forgot my dads in the military and my actual home states texas, and i was in the top 5% of my class so does that help? my gpa’s a 3.8 and im a minority

If you live in Texas, and you’re in the top 5% of your class, you get automatic admission to all public universities in Texas.

You scored 80 overall? That’d be a 20 on the ACT.

well thats great to know thanks  and oh ok, well that was without studying so once i study i should be able to get at least a 28, and are those classes kinda rigorous or is it just moderate for an aspiring undergraduate?

How could you do soccer, XC and football? Aren’t they all the same season?

im gonna do them in separate years, and cross country might be a maybe cause 3-4 miles is preeeetty long lol

My hs school (in Texas) has football in the fall and soccer in the spring. You are totally able to do football, XC, and soccer. The only conflict would be basketball and soccer…if you are varsity in both sports, then they both clash.

oh, well i know im not goin to make varsity in soccer im not THAT good, yet lol, but ill try and see if i can work it out, thanks for the help people
