<p>Let’s ignore which would be the better fit, as I think I can best factor this in, but which school would be the best choice for a science major… considering cost?</p>

<p>Hendrix is very strong in the sciences. The biggest and nicest buildings on campus are the science buildings, there is also a great study abroad program, excellent scholarships and its easy to find internships and research opportunities. Professors are excellent, they notice when you skip class and notice when you’re struggling or not trying.</p>
<p>IWU by far. There is a hospital two blocks away…</p>

<p>While I can’t speak to the science program at any of the three, I respect and I’ve been most impressed with Rhodes graduates.</p>
<p>So the advice seems split across the board…</p>
<p>in my opinion, you can’t really go wrong at any of these schools, all have very impressive science programs (though I think Hendrix is the better pick here), go to the school you feel more comfortable at because none of these three schools really stand out from the others academically</p>

<p>I am a junior in high school, but I know a lot about Rhodes and Hendrix. I live about half an hour away from Hendrix and will be spending 6 weeks for Governor’s School there this summer. Hendrix is fantastic for science. They have really high acceptance rates for graduate schools; it is definitely the best in Arkansas. Hendrix has a really cool Odyssey program. A bunch of new construction is about to go up in the area. I believe it will be called “The Village”. The designs looked pretty cool. My uncle attended Hendrix. He is now an ER doctor in Ft. Lauderdale. Now on to Rhodes. I took a tour of Rhodes and was extremely impressed. The internships offered to science majors at Rhodes are beyond stellar. You would have the opportunity to research at hospitals (as previously mentioned for St. Jude’s) and labs. Rhodes is more prestigious nationally, but the two schools are pretty similar in academic standards. The main aspects I could see to demarcate between the schools are the student bodies and location. Rhodes is more known for slightly conservative, affluent students. Hendrix might surprise you with a more liberal student body. Granted, both student bodies are very intelligent and amiable(from what I gathered). Rhodes is situated in a nice area of Memphis. It is a very safe but vibrant part of the city. It’s by the zoo!! 
Thus, you will have the city as your playground. Conway is a growing city. It has a lot of nice restaurants and natural areas. Little Rock is just a short drive away from Conway. I don’t know anything about Illinois Wesleyan…but that doesn’t bother me. haha I hope this helps?? lol Best of luck!</p>
