<p>I will get AT LEAST one B in my AP classes. I already got deferred from Hopkins 
so now I am even more afraid that my senior grades will hurt, since they are the most recent grades, which are very important.</p>
<p>Schools know who is serious about their education and who is not. My friend, now a freshman in college, had his top choice school rescind their decision because of poor grades. The college wanted to see how well he could handle his AP and honors courses, since he had only taken one honors course his whole high school career. Adcoms aren’t dumb, and that’s why many kids are deferred because they try to impress schools with challenging schedules, even though they can’t handle the classes.</p>
