So suppose I am rejected. In all likelihood, I would be rejected of my (relatively) abysmal ACT of 31 and lack of SAT subject tests and only a handful of AP courses(although this is accounted for by the fact that only Juniors and seniors may take AP’s. Still as rigorous a course as possible). If I were in fact rejected, might I resend my app given I’m taking the SAT tomorrow and the SAT II subject tests in January. Or does a rejection=don’t apply again?

I don’t think you can re-send the application if you’re rejected, but I could be wrong.

I can’t seem to find it on their site, but I do not believe you can reapply in the same admissions cycle.

However, from their site they do say this:

So you could always try to transfer in. :)

But then there would be no difference between a defer and reject, other than the rejectee has to write a new application. I believe that if you are rejected, you can’t reapply the same cycle.

^ in fact, rejection would be better, as you can’t update your app when deferred…

As ccuser18 said, you can always try to transfer in. (:

Yeah. I mean if you were allowed to reapply after rejection there would be no point in deferring.

As others said, you can’t reapply if rejected. Is having multiple AP tests influemce the outcome much? Your lack of many AP’s won’t affect the outcome, I think.

Thank you everyone, you confirmed my suspicions.
