How does that work?
I downloaded the paper worksheet and it’s filed but the way the info is there I won’t receive any fed aid, maybe some school aid.

So… do I just mail it to the FAFSA people? even though it says “DO NOT MAIL THIS WORKSHEET”

???

Wait, what school is this? :)

I think you have completed the wrong thing. There is a worksheet for preparing for FAFSA. And there is an actual paper FAFSA. Sounds like you did the worksheet. The paper FAFSA is here

[Federal Student Aid - Free Application for Federal Student Aid - Filing Options](http://fsa.ed.gov/fafsa/fafsa_options.html)

I suspect, though am not sure, that as you are not eligible for any federal aid you may have to mail this to the school so that can calculate your EFC for their own aid purposes, rather than to FAFSA. I may be completely wrong about this though, so please contact the school and ask.

^ I am not eligible but UCI (the school) still wants it to see what’s up

Scholarship associations also want me to send that.

As I recall you have some unusual status/citizen issues. It is possible that your parents would not be able to sign the electronic FAFSA due to not having SSNs or something. Swim-mom is correct, find the correct paper FAFSA, do it, and send it off. Get it signed as best you can.

It sounds like institutions and associations are trying to help you out, and they want some sort of picture of your financial situation. So give them what they ask for, and hope for the best.

The FAFSA cannot be processed electronically or on paper, without a social security number, so this may be the way they are seeking financial information.

I am NOT meaning to imply anything about your status–I remember seeing some of your posts, but I don’t recall the specifics. Good luck.

^ Two scholarships want a FAFSA application as a way of claiming financial statement

thank you!

Did you figure out if you had done the correct paper FAFSA as opposed to the worksheet?

YES!

thank u very much!
