Yep, I’m a rising senior.
Aims =
2100+ SAT from 1740 (Long reach but if I’m able to get 28 on my ACT, I think it’s possible. It’s mostly critical reading but I have a good 2-3 months to study and I have a 2300+ cousin to help :P)
32+ from 28 ACT

Actually, I just found like 15 other old SATs to practice on. That’s good I suppose.

Oh, and I noticed you got a 2300+ on your SATs also, got any tips?

hmmm… sounds like your plan is pretty awesome. im in the same position as you are <1890> not too happy with it but hopefully i can improve it by next year. im also a rising senior.

i dont like the Barrons 2400 book. my book told me to take a pen to the SAT if i wanted to. [haha. im lucky i didnt fall for that lol] anyhows, i found plenty of mistakes in my Barrons AP Chem cracker. my advice: its risky to trust barrons because it is filled with errors. find another cracker. a family friend of mine dropped off around 8 sat books just cause he didnt need

I personally love the barrons 2400 book. I’m in the same situation- stuck at 1980. I have not read the whole thing yet, but it has been a HUGE help to my biggest problem, CR. It really shows you different ways of looking at the SAT designed specifically for people who are stuck just below really high scores. This is only practice, but I’ve already jumped from 630 to 780 on CR and my summer is only half over =). I would highly recommend this book. I’ll update more when I get through W and M.

Kaplan and Princeton Review are generally reliable, by my experience. I’m a rising senior as well, and with Kaplan and some private lessons, I improved from a 2030 to a 2310. I’m skeptical about Barron’s, since I saw quite a few problems in their AP Spanish Language prep book.
