<p>yeah, i say don’t worry about ap scores. you’re not required to have them either, so if you get an icky one you can cancel it. says my counselor. talk to yours and ask him/her about ap stuff. of course, your counselor might not know; mine is the ap coordinator at my school =D</p>
<p>colleges don’t really look at AP scores. They only consider SAT and SAT II scores. </p>

<p>If you’re concerned about AP scores affecting admission, don’t worry about it. SATs and SAT IIs are FAR more important than APs. If anything, a 3 would help you since it shows initiative, a desire for challenge, and at least some qualification.</p>
<p>If it helps, I never took an AP test during 9-11th grades (I’m taking 7 this year… I know I know, but I like stress) and I was accepted. I’m also OOS, and apparently it’s harder to get into UCSD from OOS.</p>
<p>I guess you should try to refrain from getting any 1’s though, as they would imply that you didn’t learn much throughout the course. Good luck!</p>

<p>if this is the standard for ap exams, i dont know what SD saw in me!! lol. i know they dont look at AP, but i only did 2 ap last year and 2 this year.</p>
<p>HORRIBLE AP scores, gpa somewhere 3.9-4.1, average sat scores. well, my bio sat2 was basically spectacular, but other than that all scores were average or just above average…</p>

<p>haha yea- i think the people that get involved online generally represent a more elite group cause those who dont have lots of APs dont respond. But you are average for UCSD cause the average admit was 4.07 GPA and around 1300 SAT equivalent on old scale. But your community service helped, no doubt</p>
