<p>I haven’t recieved anything tangible from UCSD yet… so is it in the mail that UCSD sends you ? or is it somewhere online?</p>
<p>I’m pretty sure it’s in the letter of acceptance that they will mail you, and I haven’t gotten the letter yet either.</p>
<p>You can view it online…Go to second page of your acceptance online notice (or letter) (Contract for Provisional Admission for Fall Quarter 2006)…PID is under your name.</p>
<p>Look like this:</p>
<p>Name: John Smith
PID: A00000000 <<<<<<<<<<
College: Revelle (or Eleanor Roosevelt or Warren or etc.)
Major: Bio-Engineering: Biotechnology</p>

<p>You apply, state your preferences, and they assign…within your college, of course.</p>
<p>hmm… no official letter yet but mine says
“Your UCSD PID is printed under the date in the upper right portion of your letter of admission.”</p>

<p>i mean can u choose specific dorms? like in revelle i want “Argo” and not fleets…are we allowed to choose thoses?</p>
<p>what if i don’t want to “start the acceptance process”. is that binding or can you just open and then close it.</p>
