<p>For the “Closer View of SMU” reception, did everyone receive a confirmation e-mail. I rsvp-ed and got to the page that said I should get one in a few minutes but never received it.</p>
<p>We live in SoCal, and son was accepted to SMU Early Action and also to Meadows. We have not received any notification of a reception. How did it reach you?</p>

<p>Ours was an email from Rick Diaz. Don’t worry too much if you didn’t get to go. If you or your son went to any other receptions, it was similar. I really didn’t learn anything new. My daughter met another girl there and they had fun talking. Parents had residence hall questions but nothing you couldn’t find out online. It was nice as always but you didn’t have to go, so don 't worry. Did you go to the one in the fall for info?</p>

<p>I think I also saw them listed on one of the SMU facebook pages also but don’t remember which one (they have several including one for the class of 2015).</p>
