Social judgement about new relationship

I broke up with a boyfriend and, from the looks of it, dove right in to a new relationship. However, I had known the new boyfriend for 8 months and we had both felt a very strong attraction for the entire time. Breaking up with our boyfriend/girlfriend was just the official culmination of a relationship that had been losing steam for quite awhile.

It wasn’t a matter of not being able to be “without a man,” but a matter of wanting to be with this particular man.

We’ve been happily married for 25 years now, so it wasn’t a bad decision.

Sounds like the OP put a lot of thought into this before acting, and if those closest to her don’t see any red flags, I think she should not worry about what other people think, as it’s none of their business anyway.
