Hey guys!
I am currently looking at these schools
U of WA
Syracuse U
U of San Diego
UC San Diego
UC Santa Barbara
UC Santa Cruz
Pepperdine
Chapman

Do any of you have any tips/opinions/comments regarding social life at these colleges? I know i would like to join a sorority and do prefer an interesting social scene

IHMO, your social life is more dependent on you than which school you choose.

If you are considering Pepperdine, be aware that it is a very religious school with mandatory religious services. If that’s your thing, great. Polar opposite of the UCs. Pepperdine is also geographically somewhat isolated out there on the cliffs. Chapman has a great in-town location, and does have a lively Greek system.

UCSC essentially has no Greek system.

Ace answer. The campus and student culture can be contributing factors (and the smaller and more rural the campus, the more they are so), but ultimately your social options come down to the choices you make.

Especially at unis the size of the ones you have listed, you’re not going to find a monoculture. You just have to find your people.

Syracuse is one of the top party schools, just saying.
