<p>I am thinking about transfering from a CUNY in NYC to UMD College Park. </p>
<p>I hopefully want to transfer into the Spring 2007 semester. </p>
<p>I am a bit worried though since I wont know anyone there and all the freshamn, sophmores, juniors will have bonded and formed close connections.</p>
<p>I was wondering if I would need the greek system to meet new people?</p>
<p>Also the cost of one year of out of state tution is 33k which is alot, how need based aid do they give?</p>
