Hey all,

I’m thinking about studying sociology at UChicago. Do you think that would give me a good background for urban planning / development, or perhaps law school? I know the whole “you might end up doing something completely irrelevant to your major” argument, but it doesn’t answer the question well. Otherwise, what major do you think I should look into if I ultimately want to restructure developing urban neighborhoods / do research in that area? The list of UChicago majors can be found here: [Courses & Programs of Study](http://collegecatalog.uchicago.edu/programs/index.shtml#m)

Also, if I study sociology, would it be hard for me to get into grad school for psychology without the background in biology?

Thanks in advance!
