I’m doing a project for the math department in which I am creating an interactive matlab gui for calc 2 students to learn the disk method. For one part of it I need to show a surface of revolution for my function (3 piece wise functions), and I was wondering what would be the best avenue to show something like that? I haven’t ever done animations in matlab and at first glance they seem pretty intense, is there something out there that I can do a revolution in with that might be more more simple and visually appealing? Maybe a CAD? Any ideas would be a great help!
