some advice/info for getting into specific colleges

<p>colleges im looking at (for the first 2, I live in California):
UCLA
Berkeley
University of Chicago
University of Virginia</p>

<p>Are SAT II scores of 750+ good enough for these schools? What about GPA, mine for both semesters last year was 4.71. I’m a little insecure though my schoolmates say I’m a shoo-in. Just wanted a little more advice. Thanks</p>

<p>go straight to the horse’s mouth–look at the average testing scores and gpa for the colleges in which you are interested!</p>

<p>Well you’ve provided very little info. You’re probably not a shoo-in because very few are at those schools. SAT II’s of 750+ are fine and your GPA looks good, but you’ll need good EC’s and SAT as well.</p>

<p>Very few at UCs have those scores. You can do better.</p>

<p>I’d say you got a shot at the UC’s. UVA from out of state is prolly a reach. For u chicago, you gotta write some kick-@$$ essays.</p>
