Some advice/perspective for international students

“Where did you get 6%? Harvard admited 2,074 of 22,796 for Class of 2009 (http://www.news.harvard.edu/gazette...dmissions.html). That’s 9.1%. If you’re trying to say that 6% is the admit rate for international, you must be a prophet; they NEVER release international applicant acceptance rate.”

They do release the stats for internations… For example from this book “Petersons Top colleges” or somthing like that I could dig up from the stats was that in 2000 (its from an old book) the admission rate for international students at harvard was ~5.4%. It’d be lower if you took into account the “Early” Applicants.

I applied as a Korean citizen so I think being an “international” wasn’t anything of a “hook” :D
