So I just got my score for my ACT and I got a 29. That may seem really low to some people or really high to others. I just wanted to tell my story on how I got here, because for me it was a fight. I’m currently a junior, or senior since school just ended, and my freshman and sophomore year my gap was a 2.8. When I became a junior I realized how bad i’m doing and I needed to do better. I have a lot of “friends”. I use quotations because they know me for my Freshman and Sophomore years, they always made fun of my old ACT score and how I’m not smart. I’m the type of person to love when people doubt you. It gave me the motivation to do what I did. I NEED to prove them wrong in life. I’ve been studying for my career already ! I plan on being a Stock Broker since my dad and mom are in finance I decided to follow them. I’ve talked to lots of Brokers, read books and have been in the stock market for about a year now.
What did I do?
-My original ACT I took I got a 21!!! Now I have a 29
-As I said my original GPA was 2.9 and my junior year I got straight A’s both semesters. I’m hoping to keep up this trend and be very successful when I grow up so I can, on our high school reunion, laugh at all the people that doubted me.
I’m still a long way out so I can’t be thinking of the future I need to focus on the present.
I just made this so people can know IT CAN BE DONE. You need 8 more point on the ACT? YOU CAN! Work hard, give up playing games now so you can spend all of summer relaxing.
