Some Questions about Application

1- Does indicated major (I plan on applying to LSA) matter at all? Do they look at your grades in the subjects related to that major?

2- If you indicate Ross PA on your app, does it affect your decision in any way? And will it affect your notificiation? Like will you know if you got in at all first, and then know about Ross later, or will you not know until the decision on Ross is made? And does it affect the way you app is looked at?

Thanks to anyone that can help.

I don’t believe that an indicated major will help or hurt you too much for LSA. They expect you to change your mind. When I entered the University, I indicated my probable major on my app., but they still listed me as undeclared. Apparently, that was a good thing because my actual majors (Spanish and Classical Civilization) are not the majors that I originally had in mind.

If you indicate Ross PA on your app, it doesn’t affect your decision with LSA. Basically if LSA accepts you, your app gets passed on to Ross. Naturally, the Ross decision will come later (I heard from LSA in feb. and Ross in april).

Any of you know when the app will come out?

The essays and recommendation forms are out.

Application should be out in late August/early September.
